At Operation Freedom, we are dedicated to spreading awareness and educating others about the pressing needs facing communities around the world.
Poverty, sexual abuse, homelessness, lack of clean water, and food insecurity are persistent challenges in Nigeria, Peru, and around the world—issues that are sadly growing more severe each day.
At Operation Freedom, we collaborate with established foundations in Nigeria and Peru, leveraging their grassroots initiatives to enhance community support. Alongside these partnerships, we also lead our own outreaches, immersing ourselves in local efforts to understand and amplify the impact through targeted support and expansion.
One of our most significant passions lies in ensuring access to clean water for those deprived of it, achieved through the provision of filters along with follow-up education, or by the construction of water wells. While the financial aspect is relatively straightforward—it costs approximately $20 to provide a filter to a family and around $200 to dig an average well 50 feet deep—the real challenge arises in educating and empowering communities to maintain these vital resources over time.
Clean Water Initiative
Welcome to "POPPYS House!" Many young girls have found refuge here in Peru due to experiences of sexual or physical abuse, neglect, orphanhood, or abandonment. At POPPYS House, they are provided with the opportunity to heal, receive love, attend school, access clean water, and enjoy nutritious meals. Eventually, they transition to the older dormitories where they are prepared to become productive young women within their local communities.
